Hi, I’m Kimberly Spencer, founder of Crown Yourself, wife and loving mompreneur, and I believe you can embrace the flow AND the hustle.
Several years ago I was an executive of an online startup. I was constantly trying to prove myself, prove how valuable I was to the company, to my partner, to everyone. I wanted success in a way that honored my health. But instead, I was living off of caffeine and constantly frustrated with the masculine do-do-do energy.
I started wondering, “Is this it?” Is this what I’m going to be doing for the rest of my life?
Waking up in a panic to check my inbox at 4AM...again? 📩 Barely having time to shower, let alone workout? Feeling like I had to clone myself so I could accomplish everything on my neverending to-do list? Working late only to wake up early and do it all over again the next day?
And, if I’m already this tired, how could I add anything to it, like scaling the business, or getting married, or having a kid? 😫
Oh god. Suddenly my title and my position didn’t make me feel so cool. In fact, I felt stuck.
When you’re in a rut today, it’s very easy for that to become the rut you’re in tomorrow, and the next day, and then 30 years from now, doing the same thing, the same old way.
Fast forward to today, I now have a business that I love (that’s 100% completely, authentically me), and a husband and a son, whom I adore. In fact, I started scaling my business when I was 7-months pregnant and had my son, lost the baby weight and had my best year ever as an entrepreneur. Boom!🥂
